One of my favorite places!!! I’m vegan and my boyfriend eats meat so it’s hard sometimes to find a place we both love, but Maki Yaki is the best. I always eat there and then order for home too. 😂 The staff is super quick and generous. I’m glad I stumbled on this place because it’s a gem. Good for families because it’s got something for everyone (my family likes that it’s all very fresh tasting).

I phone in an order for Eel Sashimi and the Alaskan Roll, which was basically inedible since it was mostly imitation crab and tasted like heavy mayo (not even the spicy kind). As for the actual salmon on top, it looks like they gave me scraps of salmon. Some parts had huge amounts of fat in them and other pieces were striated and very hard to chew. I couldn’t eat half of it. The eel was nice but it had too much eel sauce imo. Service was decent, otherwise I probably won’t be ordering here again.

REVIEW ( Sushi adventure, I survived so WILL YOU LOL ) I have passed this place a million times and finally decided to try it. Let me start with the outside because the outside had me questioning my life choices. The green paint is dull, the building looks tired, and it gives the kind of vibe where you wonder if you are walking into a restaurant or a tetanus shot appointment. Not the best first impression before eating raw fish. Inside, it is so dark you would think they were hiding from the electric company. I do not know if they were going for romantic or if someone said turn off half the lights to save money, but it was too dark for two in the afternoon. When we walked back outside, the sun slapped me like I owed it money. The restaurant is not fancy enough to be that dark. It felt more like poor lighting than ambiance. Now the food. This is a sushi place, but the fish was not as fresh as it should have been. Fresh fish tastes clean. This fish tasted like it had been thinking about its life for a couple of days. All You Can Eat PREMIUM is SO DELICIOUS. We visit many sushi places and my husband and I found this place to be amazing! Great quality Sushi. Fish is very fresh and they are very generous with the portions of fish. If you love sushi as much as my husband and I do, this place is a MUST GO! Amazing Quality and GREAT PRICES!

Omg can't wait to actually come and sit and try this place with my husband we are big on sushi and I recently ordered 2 big catering orders and fish was so fresh and tasted amazing. My family was impressed but how good sushi tasted. Definitely will order again and can't wait to actually dine in. EDIT so I actually came in today with the family amazing loved it new fav sushi spot 🍣
